This year, instead of that tired old turkey roast, how about serving something a little exotic? You could try out an Asian speciality, a typical North American dish or a traditional European recipe that you’ve never even tasted before! From starter to main course to dessert, the trick is to go for the surprise factor. You can even decorate your table accordingly, so that the whole meal turns into an exotic adventure! And if you really want to turn tradition on its head, then why not simply get everyone gathered around the plancha, the raclette or the fondue set for a magical dinner that the whole family will love? Then round it all off with something a bit lighter than the traditional Christmas pudding, such as little glasses filled with seasonal fruit salad.
And if your guests are in the double figures, have no qualms about serving up a Christmas buffet! Toasted canapés, colourful and original dips, quiches and finger foods can all be prepared beforehand, so that for once you too can have a relaxing Christmas dinner!
