You don’t need us to tell you that there’s nothing like a glass of homemade fruit juice or vegetable juice for ensuring maximum taste and vitamins. And now, armed with your juice extractor, nothing can stop you. So stock up on the fruit and veg, because you’re sure to get hooked on juice! So that you never run out of ideas, here are a few recipes that are both delicious and good for you.

Fruit and vegetable juice for health and happiness

If you’re always on the run, you can obviously go for something simple such as carrot and orange, carrot and cucumber, or apple and beetroot. But if you like inventing new recipes, there’s nothing to stop you being a bit more creative. Spinach, for example, is the perfect base ingredient for a delicious, healthy juice and can be mixed with other foods such as apples, bananas, cucumber and/or celery. You can also opt for something very green yet utterly delicious – fennel, savoy cabbage, parsley and white grape juice, for example, go perfectly together!

And finally, certain ingredients are recommended for combating ongoing conditions such as hypertension, cellulite and high cholesterol. Drink a glass a day of beetroot and carrot juice with a dash of ginger, or else a mixture of black grape, orange, lemon and apple juice. But most importantly of all, make juices that you love and always opt for seasonal fruit and veg.
