Food Revolution Day: Tefal has teamed up with Jamie Oliver for a worldwide day of action!
Tefal is proud to be taking part in this year’s Food Revolution Day, on May 16th 2014.
Food Revolution Day is an annual day of global action to keep cooking skills alive. It’s about celebrating the importance of cooking good food from scratch and raising awareness of how this impacts our health and happiness. This year, Food Revolution Day is, above all, about getting kids excited about food, inspiring in them a love of food that will last a lifetime.
Food Revolution Day is a campaign by the Jamie Oliver Food Foundation in the UK and USA and The Good Foundation in Australia. To date, 85 countries have taken part and over 750 ambassadors are championing our cause.
We want as many people as possible to get involved and help children understand where food comes from, how to cook it and how it affects our bodies. You could help a child cook a meal from scratch, get them to try a new ingredient or join Jamie’s GUINNESS WORLD RECORD™ attempt for the largest cooking lesson on the planet.
Let’s get cooking!
